Re: elinjo
If the average song is four minutes that's about one month. With regard to your second question the station is owned by Clear Channel, which owns a ton of stations in the United States. They're a big corporation that can do it.

How long does it take to play 10000 songs? Can they stay in business that long without advertising revenues?

The 1000 commercial free music’s an introduction for promotion of the new format. The second top 40 (hitmusic) station here began commercial free. And then they added disc jockeys and the usual morning set of commercial free music. In any event, enjoy!  BC-A, Bill’s RJLst

In my youth a radio station did that in Chicago and they are still going strong! Enjoy the music! sam

I know I could do without the commercials and the silly chatter. Bring it on!

Re:
CHR stands for Contemporary hit radio, which sets its play list based off of what the Top 40 songs are.
