I don't want to pick grey for my life, nor black or white. Think I'll go for sky blue.

I pick the color of the evening skies decorated with the sparkle of the first stars of the night and the moonglow lighting up the earth's form.

Re: Shobana
Nautikos - It does so with mine too..Blue is a lovely colour and the greens are always overshadowed by the white in winter you're so right, you tend to miss it. Thanks so much for your visit.

A fun poem, and it made me think about colour! One of the things I know about my own preferences is that they change with my mood and my circumstances - I often prefer a particular kind of blue, and in winter I always miss the many greens of summer...

Hi Elyse, it got me pondering too..lol. Blue and then green always brings about a mystery I think...clear and simmering as the oceans! Thanks so much for your visit and lovely comment.

Such vivid designs ~ brings yummy depth
"If you get to pick a colour for your life
What would it be
In picking a colour for my life
I'd pick it to be with me"
and if I were to pick a colour hmmm...I think it would be any color of blue --- then green...then LOL, it's hard for me to pick. But I begin with Blue ~ (lapis, azure - ) and I wanted to say this poem is deep ~ leads me to ponder. Elyse

What an exquisite ending my Shobana! I love the color yellow! I have not been out to read much lately! Trying to rectify my mess is a bit overwhelming! I am making progress and very thankful for that! My soldier son, Christoper will be back in the States on Saturday from a mission in Egypt! I will be so relieved! Having this computer mess has been a bit off a blessing in disguise, not much time to think of anything else! So, anything exciting happening in your neck of the woods? You sam loves you dearly!

My world is all colors of the rainbow as well as black and white. Green is the one that appeals to me most of all, but they are all important in one way or another and have to be accepted.
It was a great pleasure to read this poem Shobana, have a wonderful day.
