Vogue
Why not? If they let me bring my shower onto the stage, I'll become an opera star...

For rock and roll, it's all in projecting attitude, no??
You have acting talent from the courtroom, no? so, you, if anyone can, should be aable to pull this off. Subject matter is everything....Rod Stewart is no Frank Sinatra and Tom Waits ain't no songbird, as someone once said.

HI, Vogue - just catching up with my favorites...I can just see you on stage at the Beacon Theater in NYC where all the greats in ROCK play!! You'd be very at home there. As for helping out that lush next door, I didn't read the comments but common sense would dictate that unless the wife takes steps to get her husband help - why should you get involved any more? Does Turkey have a Department of Health and Human Services, like the States, that you can call anonymously and get someone over there? But, if you did, I'd imagine, nothing would change. Also, I'm very proud of all of your successes! Will you be in the States for Thanksgiving? Would you like to come experience a very American tradition? You're invited! Mal

Talent can be developed, but your lady singing for her own amusement
had to have the right pipes (vocal chords) and body armature, lungs, etc., to be able to produce the sounds, and good hearing to find the pitch and tone. Our teachers used to say practice makes perfect.

Singing is meant for expressing joy! If other people don't appreciate our efforts; well hard luck. If you want to sing - go for it! Should I be wishing you Bon Voyage?

Hi vogue
I think it's almost impossible to become a geriatric nightingale if that spark called talent, is not there inside one, especially so when it comes to fine art, like singing. Either you have it or you don't, so it goes. 'Beauties', haha, can only be caught, never taught

I believe that though with perseverance and hard work one can become good at almost anything... talent can not be learned...for it is something innate... Be well xoxoxo
