BC-A,
The headline and examples are hypothetical, of course. However, they are not too far off from the new clove ban for being ridiculous and against free will. Cigarettes are bad but legal. Too much red meat, caffeine and junk food is bad but legal. These current intrusions are simply getting out of hand and the gov't needs to focus on the important issues at hand...like over 10% of citizens being involuntarily unemployed. Thanks for your comments! You rock

I hope that these bans are theoretical. In any event the founding fathers went with free will on these matters. The application of the spirit of the law on their evolution into Starbucks® requires common sense. Alas the wisdom on the frontier has changed into the corporate state. BC-A, Bill’s RJLst

Fires
Better yet,.  Let's just ban decision making all together.  I mean people just waste so much time trying to make decisions for themselves anyways.  Let's pay the government to make decisions for us.  And if you do decide on your own, you'll have to pay a fine...

Anyways, just saying hi :)

Be reasonable

I am with you, enough already! I think folks should make their own decisions and who's to really make a judgment! It is rather mind boggling the amount of time that is spent on what are for me non issues in the big picture! Unless their motive is to find a way to place a tax on it to pay for something else! Just crazy! So if I lose my Moxie Java Milky Way, I am going to cry, lol! It is sad the different small issues that seem to crop up to mask the real ones! I hope it isn't a ploy to detract and get things in that are not in the best interest of the general population!  sam
