This is right down my alley, or was at that time. I'm not so adventurous anymore. Now I like comfort and five-star hotels. In the 70's we were into backpacking into the wilderness looking for old ghost towns and taking up residence with our sleeping bags in the critter infested broken-down remnants in order to explore their history. But, about the time you were on the Orca island, we were doing the Oregon Coast from north to south--in the rain and fog.
