Sounds like she needs to go away from home to know it is the best place to be. Growing up is not easy for Mom or kids! It is good that she is offering you someting toeward her car. Hope things get better!

I am not sure. I guess even if the part payment forthe car was self motivated it is best to say thanks and let her know she is being a big help. She might fee lgood about herself if she sees that you appreciate her help. I know the words would stick in my throat because we both know that she should be paying something. sometimes being Mom is real tough. Sigh
