It felt right out of Currier and Ives or Norman Rockwell! What a beautiful portrait of the love that can be expressed and nurtured at Christmas! I adore this one to bits and pieces my darlin' Shobana! Love you so, like the most beautiful tree in town! sam

You've brought out the essence of Christmas so well......not too far away, isn't that a good thought! Thanks very much for your comment. The Lord is truly our shepherd. Nita.

Before Christmas Always
The dollar store and supermarket notwithstanding during the years after my father died I upgraded his tradition of decorating in the recreation room so lavishly, following the influence of Santa Claus the Movie on the decoration market (Kurt Adler distributers sold the frankincense to the wise men!) that I began in August and finished by Nov. 1 as a hobby. And, hobbyists still do love. BC-A, Bill’s RJLST

Elinjo - These days the festive atmosphere for Christmas has toned down quite a bit here but they have fantastic year end bargains that come during that period so we are lucky that way! This is also a shopping paradise Elinjo. Thanks so much for your visit and comment.

Festivities are for being together with loved ones. The Christmas rush has already started here at least in the shops. The early shopper scores the bargains! You captured the best kind of Christmas atmosphere Shobana!

Dear shobana
What amazes me is the easy flow with which you poets express your feelings. I feel tempted to attempt, but the idea is scary to me. The holiday mood should tbe there at all times so that all actions are heppy ones .
