Re:
I know. My Godmother who's house we went to on the weekends (A break from the projects LMAO) would play alot of old country and the carpenters on those small lps and my mom would play pop which was easy to pick up on the radio. I would hear everything from Heart to Wham, Micheal Jackson, and The Bangles. Plus you add a few well meaning music teachers who opened up my r&b side as well as clasical, jazz, and believe it or not heavy metal. One teacher stated "A true lover of music might not like the band or type of music but can respect the hard work that goes in the creation of the music they present the world." I have carried this in my heart into adulthood. The thing is this is the one area Connor's father and I don't agree. He makes negative remarks about Pop and doesn't encourage Connor to listen. Instead he just plays Alternative music. I play what ever I can get my hands on for him and point out little tid bits of info. As far as timed word writing? It helps a lot. I set mine for 15 minutes each time. This gives me the chance to get up and stretch, get more coffee, or go to the bathroom before starting on next round. Plus it really gets the juices going. I usually get in a pumped mood to try to beat the clock on it and that causes me to write even more. I think the last four entries have been written thatt way because I will write a section and when time runs out I copy it to word processor and go again until I am through. Then I edit and what not. I wrote more than I planned LMAO! I guess it is working pretty good LMAO! U have a nice day.

When I was a child the teenagers actually grew into listening to the adult stations like the Lite ones today. I guess our loss in the Vietnam War seems to have changed it. The pop standards softer in arrangement (The drums of big band alumni Buddy Rich and Gene Krupa notwithstanding) stopped being marketed and added to. However the desirable option for the broadcasting industry’s to offer more choice in radio station music formats so that all ages could pick and choose among the genres of their time and all time for the sake of our American music heritage. In this way I like both Guns N’ Roses and Taylor Swift too. Speaking of the devil as music genre pop standards singer Andy Williams likes Taylor Swift the best of current singers. With her you’re like me in musical taste. Also, writing fast timed provides a great exercise in writing. You become better this way, love. Thank you for sharing. BC-A, Bill’s RJLst
