I'm going to have to bust this one down in segments, because I feel like it deserves it (in a good way).
THE PANHANDLER
Fantastic title, perfect for this work!
This talking commercial won’t stop
Now it’s walking beside me
Everywhere I go
I can think of lots of "talking commercials", I love the snarky comedy, and the evident frustration
I’m the pigeon-holed beggar
Asking for my life back
After all, it’s mine
This one takes it to a deeper level
Hey, I am what I am because
Life attacked me, once
But now I got to make myself feel guilty
Because I can’t pass up
A good good-bye
This is where I'm blown away! If I'm getting the theme of this thing correctly, it's a statement about the general excuse that our society as a whole tends to use. "I'm an individual, and since life attacked me, I have every reason to attack back." If this last stanza was a poem unto itself, you could call it "Apathy personified"

I'm not sure what the history is behind this one, but certain it has it's origins that are interesting.
