I'll bet! If you mocked him at all over it (based on my own experience) you probably will...

My father has a distinct sneeze. I hope I don't get it.

My father would love nothing more, I'm sure! A schoolteacher of mine once had a sneeze that went like this, "Achoopit!" "Achoopit!" It was hilarious. The funniest part was that she always wondered why the class would bust up laughing when she sneezed...she didn't connect the two events....!

This is similar to when my family praises me for the meal I've concocted; it makes me just want to produce more....thank you, adnohr...haven't shared my writing much but there are tons of thoughts in my head that need to be released, the encouragement is invaluable.

Yes, I'm afraid that I have become my mother in many ways that I used to laugh with my siblings about her. And, one of them was her loud sneezing.

I loved this!
Your father's words should be emblazoned on T-shirts and coffee mugs. As for the sneeze, my mum has this weird sneeze which is not frightening like the one you mentioned but more like a shrill shriek that makes you think that she had hurt herself. I am going to back to read the rest of your posts as I am certain to come across some more gems!

Well sneezes, it's all breath of an involuntary spasm anyway! You are so right that it will come back to haunt! I use the same quote as your dad for my children, and me! lol Funny, entertaining story! More please! sam

roflmao This was priceless, and you reminded me of my former wife Joyce (deceased) who was a tall girl with a great sense of humour and a laugh to go with it. She laughed like your mum, legs crossed, always her first move, and hunched over, and then she'd just say, "I've got to get that bladder tuck for sure."
