It appears too many people know too little about Islam. This is such a light sentence, which is terrible and barbaric as it is. However, she could have gotten stoning with the sharia law which may be coming here before long. I believe it will be over a lot of our stoned bodies if if does.

Whether she drank beer, a bit of single malt Irish whiskey,

or nothing but pure mountain spring water, the idea of taking a cane to her is barbaric. Seems like a lousy interpretation of religious practice.

Unless, of course, she says it's okay and it's one of those consenting adults, privacy of their own house adventures.

 The culture differs from the West. Here you find men that socialize with drunken women even preferably. But, this women’s consequence’s most unfortunate. I guess that most Americans would disagree with this law and the culture on this issue. BC-A, Bill’s Avante-Garde Collection

Wait a minute: was this woman in SCOTLAND at the time of the beating? I'm a bit confuse here, I thought that corporal punishment had disappear from there a long while ago....

They brew non-alcoholic beer in Denmark and quite honestly the taste is almost the same IMO. However beer drinkers would probably disagree with me. So Kabu....

If they want Australian visitors they won't brew the non alcoholic stuff
where is the english pub tradition that I used to know.
