Merkie, you have in unselfishness, beautiful heart. Your always bringing light. Mother nature and man made tragedy tell the world to reach out with love and a helping hand to each other always. Sadness and prayer filled moments come over me during times like this.

I was wishing there was some way I could get my backhoe over to Indonesia to help dig for survivors when I read the accounts this morning. It seems to be one calamity after another in the eastern part of our world, doesn't it? I guess the most physical way to help from here is to do as Kabu does and donate for survival packages.

Merkie - All this makes you sure how weak is man compared to the powerful nature. The only good thing about it is that it makes man united against the evil of nature.

Thank you for your comments from your hearts. We must stand up in hope and manifest the positive environment we seek. Fear is a unreasonable control artist which dissipates with awareness and action. We are not alone when we gather our collective strengths. As artists and sensitive beings we must protect ourselves and loved ones . We live in a global community !

I think that visualising together is a good start
but it needs to be coupled with action too - many of these effects are as man made as a car and we need to both work towards helping the victims and work towards not causing these things to happen again.

Merkie ~ I'm so joyful to find your heart here this morning as I read. My heart bleeds for all the tragedies world 'round. There is so much...If we could all just literally reach out and give a hand to all these in need. I adore your write this day. It has touched my heart...and I pray the same for those suffering, in despair, in destruction...in pain - in loss --- and my God speed His mercy ~

I do think Nature is giving us a message. There are floods in many parts of India now, after a period of drought.

human nature is constant - until those with power ("the important ones") are affected as the rest of us are, there will be no change, i.e. Katrina, etc... any act or thought of good will will positively affect the universe, but we are up against a very powerful opponent!
