Actually, I read most of my poems aloud at poetry readings and open mikes
and some I sing.  Come to think of it, even when I read silently I am speaking in my head, if that makes sense.

But even so, I don't readily take homonyms as substitutes for each other.  So if that means I will be shot on this site, then so be it.  It would only be a virtual shooting and, besides, I would not be in sight when separated by a cyber-wall.

I'd be dead.

I have noticed too how some things are better being read aloud and others not.

Interesting thoughts. Perhaps I should try reading poetry out loud.

I always read bloggers poetry aloud.  It makes such a great difference.  There are other things I read aloud at times, especially if I like a phrase or a sentence.  I thought I was the only one.
