Going through life with one high expectation/goal after another must give either a great deal of satisfaction or frustration. Thought provoking entry, thanks for sharing.

I have experienced the third one more than once! I wanted to give you a bit of insight on my son. He is a great kid but silly things happen to him. He once got a jaywalking ticket while in the crosswalk. He entered on the red flashing hand! This last one he dropped his cigarette while at a stop light in the middle of 6 lanes of traffic. I was with him and the police officer was not understanding at all. We were handicapped and did nothing so he got a littering ticket. He couldn't pay the fine but had to appear in court. He works in the Aleutian Islands and had requested a court date when he would be in from the sea. The first time it was given to him but it conflicted with another fishing season. He appeared at the clerks office and filled out another request to go to court at the end of the yearly season. They did not say yeas or no on the second one but issued a bench warrant for failure to appear! That is how he came to get arrested and his car towed to another county no less! I truly believe this is a misunderstanding of paperwork not being processed and hopefully he can get the arrest rescinded since he made every attempt to comply with the protocol of the court system! We shall see, another process for him to work through. Shelly
