I've written, but not novels, and I'm trying to be in the shoes of someone
writing a novel for the first time, so that I will wear the appropriate shoes when I aspire to write or rather begin to write a novel

Re: Re:
Right, Mr. Aspire2Inspire now you've kind of answered my question

two things are going to have to happen:
1.I'll have to contain my curiosity and 2.you'll have to get on and finish your novel. Then I'll read it. Thanks for reading and commenting on my latest blog.

Re:
Oh, the theme of my novel... haha! I was just writing (or actually editing) my intro to my novel in which I explain that there's no central theme or specific genre for my story... I know it sounds weird and contrary to rules of literature, but once you read my novel (and if you do) you'll get what I mean and why I left it with no central theme or genre.
I invite you to satisfy your curiosity by reading my novel once it's out in the market (also an opportunity for me to increase my book sales! haha)

Frustrating for you. They say curiosity killed the cat, but I'm curious!

What's the theme of your novel? I quickly scanned your previous entries, but could not find the answer to that question.

That's terribly frustrating. Just think about the satisfaction you'll get once you finish it. It'll be great! So use that as a little push to get you going.
