Your problem is easy to solve...
If you were a teenager. I recommend you go buy one right away! Whenever I mess up my computer I get my step son to bail me out (whenever I can find him awake) lol.

Glad to see ya again, Wiley. Missed you lots.
I tried the ctrl-alt-delete more than once. It was frozen tight. Turning it off and on worked, until I touched a key..then it froze again. It nearly took a walk outside - through the window -forcibly....I began to breathe through my nose...LOL!

My borrowed laptop helps...but can't wait to get my own puter back. There is only so much this little thing can do.

Auslander, my area doesn't have high speed
When I started getting too hostile with dial-up, I had a satellite installed. It works very well, close to high speed, and saved my sanity.

Thanks BC-A
That is good information to know. How do those guys just shove stuff onto our computers without our acceptance?? They can't possbly even know if our memory cards are big enough to take it!

Re: Being a cyber-junkie isn't a bad thing.
So what you are saying , Shelly b, is that I'm in good company? I agree. Hard to imagine that we used to live without it, isn't it? When was the last time we received a hand-written letter (bills not counted..lol)?

I have been known to go to the library when my puter won't work right and when the free hour is up there, run on over to Kinko and spend $20 on another hour. That's pretty bad cyber-junkying.

Actually, they carry the beast wrapped around their shoulders and the tail tugged under their arm. I kid you not. Not coming to Miami any time soon then?

We're humans, we've evolved, we adapt.
But this web technology, the big companies who think they have the right to mess with our stuff, can totally reverse the process and put us in primitive cave dweller mode. Who do they think they are, anyway?

I understand what you mean: every weekend, when I'm back home in the country side, I have to use slow-net and it's drive me crazy! And I mean, the house is only 40 km (less than 30 miles) from the capital of the country!!!!

J Interestingly I found that the toolbars of Bing and Yahoo block their own music videos. Microsoft included their toolbar in an update. For this one a pop up appeared on the screen. Due to this problem I disabled them. The buttons on their music sites worked since love. BC-A, Bill’s RoostJ
