It is like me, lindo, I loved Rio de Janeiro to distraction in my youth,
but if I go back to Brasil again, I want to see another city as you truly cannot go home again. Too different, not as sweet and full of happy life, and a new place might seem that way to me, so I would go up north somewhere or to a smaller town............
It is fun to be a guide, tho' and I do admire your mom. She was oh so very brave, as you are.

London is indeed a wonderful city to visit, but IMO not much fun to live in. I lived there for 4 years in the 60's and enjoyed the dynamic atmosphere, the cosmopolitan life style and the cultural possibilities. When I visit Britain now I avoid London because it is just far too hectic.
I've been to Warsaw a couple of times. . Before going there I imagined it would be a grey and depressing city, but found that is a green and beautiful city with an elegant and pleasant atmosphere.
