Previous commentors are right. If you are on the old rate, you are as low as you are going to get no matter how many blogs you have--so, you might as well do a lot of them. But, that doesn't excuse them from answering your questions.

First of all, Blogit Basic only allows one blog, so you will need to remove any extra blogs before you can downgrade. Your downgrade will go into effect immediately, but a refund will not be issued for any remaining days on your subscription. Since your subscription renewal date is the 10th of the month, you will now be charged the rate for Blogit Basic or $12.95 on that date (down from $19.95 which was the Blogit Gold price).
I guess I am screwed as the rate isnt that much different

Hi lustorlove,
I see that you signed up in February of '03, which means you are most likely on the original payment plan, which was the same for everyone. That means that you are probably already paying the smallest amount available.
It would be terrible for you if you deleted your blogs for nothing! I hope this gets worked out soon so you'll know for sure.
