Not the Sears catalogue, Naut!! As kids on the farm we used that, cut into little squares, piled up on the two-holed seat in the outhouse. The damned pieces, although fun to read as you sat there doing your business, would slip and slide all over the place. Not a good cleaning job at all...newspaper was much better. We could hardly wait until the grandparents had finished reading the weekly....LOL!

Nautikos
I love it. I love the idea that you have a 'pick a keep' list. I like to take my pillows and linens and I don't need the bar or breakfast. I do like a bed, but could carry along an air mattress. I want lights. This is too cool. When we travel (seldom) by car we always take linens...

Why am I not surprised?
The no-frill airlines have set  precedence and soon the whole tourism business will go bone-bare too!

These days, there are way too many huge telephone books left on our doorstep.  Might be they could be recycled there.

Good marketing. Especially if the guests eat in the dining room.

Never thought those old catalogues would be of use.

No TP?  Reminds me of the time my husband grabbed at foliage in leu of - resulting in a trip to the ER for an indelicate case of poison ivy!

Hahahahaaa....creativity is important during these times. The beaches of San Diego are beautiful, so that would be something to check out. LOL!
