I much enjoy a good symphony of notes that will linger on my ears for days to come!  I love Beethhoven...Mozart is another favorite of mine.  Good selections!

Yes, Bill, it is one of my all-time favorites!

Carmina Burana was mined by Basil Polidouris

when he composed the score for Conan the Barbarian lo these many years ago... Which was a brilliant thing itself, that score!  Great housecleaning music!

I've never actually heard the original, have meant to for years, and will particularly look forward to the soprano solo now.

Actually, since I am doing very little planning, it isn't until I get there
that the wedding plans will be my own focus. Mostly I will just be doing what my daughter tells me to do!  She ought to enjoy that!

Yes, Sam, Seattle is a busy place
and as cities go, perhaps cleaner and brighter than many.

All safe ones, TAPS--

ones I know I will thoroughly enjoy!

Last summer Charlie and his visiting friend and I all went to one--the guest meant changing tickets last minute, and we ended up on a different night, and instead of a Beethoven symphony (7, I think it was) the additional piece was something commissioned specially, never heard before, and purely--to my unsophisticated ear--dreadful!  If I had had an outside aisle seat, I woulda snuck out!  Did I mention, interminable, too?

Feels odd, though--
I don't generally plan my future quite so far ahead, so specifically... a particular seat on a particular evening, months from now!  Another benefit of season packages, is if anything comes up, or you suddenly have company in town--you can exchange and add tickets, or even get a credit for another time.

Just beginning to catch up here! Your music choices are great! I love Orff's Carmina Burana, and even have them on the MP3 player - some of the songs have a wonderful, pounding rhythm, perfect for working out! And that soprano solo close to the end (I would have to look up the name of that song) never fails to send shivers down my spine...

Sounds like things are calming down from the wedding plans - congrats, by the way - and you can finally make some personal plans.  I'll chime in to say they do sound like fun!
