Wow, CP.
For some reason this reminds me of the farmers of the Dust Bowl, who without respirators or closed sterile rooms braved the storms with nothing more than a wet handkerchief and the grace of God. What wisdom is there in the comfort of science? Very well done!
Thanks also for your comment on my journal entry. An explanation for the blocking - minus excuses, I hope - will be soon posted. I hope to get your feedback on that as well.
Be well,
M
P.S. I saw on your profile that you played the horn; I did as well, love that.

Re: This is VERY good....
Thanks for the book recommendation, Jonathan, which sounds interesting. My poem, however, is a reaction to the "technologists", particularly those making a very recent diatribe against religion led by a Christopher Hitchens.

This is VERY good....
I really can relate, just like you, to this arrogance without wisdom, of our materialistic old paradigm science and sceintists, as well as a whole population of poorly educated people who
"know everything, and nothing else." I am reading a marvelously interesting book at the moment:
The Visionary Window: A Quantum Physicist’s Guide to Enlightenment by Amit Goswami Ph. D which seeks to explain quantum physics and how consciousness is part and parcel of our reality. Once this is understood there is room to develop a theory encompassing space-time physics and the physics of spirituality giving a completely new basis to our Universe. Very enlightening!
I am also an avid reader of Deepak Chopra's books where he also steps into the spiritual world and from there shows how it is related to the material. It's very hopeful stuff all this and if you come to it open-minded I am sure you will be delighted and freed up from some of the bitterness you feel about the old-time scientific pedants. As I do.
Jonathan
