I certainly forgive you TAPS!
I'm guilty of the same. It's not the desire that is lacking, but the time. When I finally do manage it, I can spend hours & hours in here reading. There is so much talent! Thank you so much, and will be checking your posts asap to see how the family gathering turned out.

It is a pleasure reading you.  I am so far behind in reading my Blogit friends.  I know they will all forgive me, but the thing is that I so enjoy reading everyone.  I love reading about your work and how you relate to your employees.

You're right Sam444
DIversity keeps you on your toes, that's for sure! I'm building on those memories now...maybe one day I'll have time to sit and reflect on them, LOL.

Nautikos
It's so much easier to work when you're also having fun, isn't it?. 'Stagiares' are students who, to achieve their diploma, must have 6 weeks practise in a working environment related to their study course. It's study, 1 week practise, study, 2 week practice, study, 3 week practise, tests then, hopefully, find a fulltime job. They say we learn something new every day....

Thank you Ariala - it is a great place to work. I'm surrounded by good people.

Vogue, yes - I should receive your book in about 5 days, they said
and I'm happy if it made your day! Looking forward to reading it. As for the business, we're working on the profit part of it, but hopefully never at the expense of the workers.

Thank you Justi, it was great
I was surrounded by good friends, listening to good music, and enjoying our beautiful September weather up in the mountains.Did notice that my Spanish is getting rusty though...

Thanks Troosha
It was a nice afternoon - I like their music. And we have bad days at the office too, but most of the people can take it in stride, so that's okay. Learning experience.

Re: Sounds like a stimulating challenge -- too bad it can't be that good
A challenge it is, Pat-B. And I guess we need the bad now & then to appreciate the good, LOL.

It seems to me that I wouldn't mind working at your place and it is a joy to hear that there is some humanity left int he world of business with out the profits suffering. It is indeed possible. Thanks so much for stopping by and your interest. And since you asked: here is the link to the novel.

And here is the link to the Galicia guide

Sounds like a wonderful place to work and to be a partner in. I hope your Cuban celebration is awesome.

A workplace full of “hopeful and excitement” even some humour sounds like a great environment in which to build a business.  Have fun at the Cuban celebration!
