This is an interesting write. Life is not about fairy tales coming true IMHO, although in some cases it may seem that way. I think as long as you can differentiate reality from fiction, there should not be a problem in finding the right partner. As you said, men would expect the whole package in a woman whereas the woman would be more inclined in an emotional aspect..most of the time..as times are changing too. Women these days look for security I think. Gone are the days of the knight in shining armour as women get more and more independent. I think there is no absolute certainty in finding a 100% right partner in your life. It is mostly about compatability and the willingness to take any relationship to where you want it to go with a give and take attitude.

Some people fall in love with the reflection of themselves in another.
Some are dreamweavers creating what others want, but failing when that gets exhaustive. The true authentic person accepts him or herself and in so doing will accept the good and bad in the one they love. Beauty fades as do good looks. Without true substance, intellectually, creatively and emotionally...relationships fade, too.
