TAPS:
It is considered that 30 to 50% of the original writings of the Bible when written was prophetic. He has written it so we would know each of them as signs as they came along. 2 John 2 is telling us we should know so we do not follow the false teachers. I believe the oil in the lamps of the virgins are referring to the Rapture and not the second coming. It is important to me that I know because the job of any Christian is to be a disciples to others. We can't pass along what we don't know. We can know if we ask for Wisdom, he promises to give it to us abounding if we ask.

God knows what he is doing.  We are allowed to know a certain amount of it ourselves if we desire.  It will be quite fascinating to see what transpires in what time is left to me.  I'd hate to be caught sleeping and with no oil in my lamp.

Nileangel:
I appreciate your comment and the quote from Albert Einstein; however, as much as he unwrapped scientific secrets he did not know he was unfolding God's creation; and had been given that opportunity by God. God is not modeled after us but we after him. He gave us the authority to do whatever we choose even before he created the first man, Adam. He gave us total reign over this world. He set into place an automatic standard called a conscious to gauge our acts of good or evil if we pursued the right course for he designed for us, not Him. If we follow the plan God has for each of us we will have walked in his will into our eternal lives. The plan is for our good not our harm. Jeremiah 29:11-14. This space is not long enough to explain the misconceptions of Mr. Einstein's quote. Thank you for the comment.

I honor your convictions, Blessed Be. Just a thought from the mind of Albert Einstein."I cannot imagine a God who rewards and punishes the objects of his creation, whose purpose are modeled after our own-a God in short, who but is a reflection of human frailty."

Kabu
Beautiful Lady, that is all that is truly necessary is that the Lord guide our lives. He has a plan for me and a plan for you and all of us. If we follow his lead we will fulfill that plan and that is what it is about. I love your comment. God bless you dear one.

Such a thought provoking post darling. I do admire your depth of thinking
I'm not sure about the end getting close....we have been in the end days since the Crucifiction; I think and our time isn't the same as God's time. ........well actually I haven't a clue about anything except the knowledge that the spirit of God guids my life ....and I can't really complain.
