You remind me of myself, I used to be a very talented writer back as a student in High school, and my teachers and peers always encouraged me to write and to be a professional writer. I never did that - when I started university, doing Business and Management, I stopped writing for 6 full years - didn't even have a personal journal, blog, or whatever; and like you, I regretted that very much. But you know what, it's never too late, take that from me
, after all that sabbatical from writing, I am now publishing my first novel.

writing about the past.
It's never too late to write about the past. When our lives are busiest we seldom have the time to sit down and write. The impressions are not so fresh, but instead you can put the events into perspective. Good luck!
