I love the teases, then the outright denial! I want to go to those other places, at least pictorially! Just teasing! I love the way you write, it really holds my interest! Shelly

Nautikos. Nova Scotia.
Wonderful descriptions, but what struck me most is your information about how local people keep up their traditions and culture. Nova Scotia is now one more name on my  '100 places to visit before I die' list.

Nautikos
That was very well done. I miss the photos like you did last year, but your discriptive writing was great. Glad you are writing again.

Delightful Naut.  You should be writing for one of those travel books... I am not an outdorsy person and you made me wish I was there :-)  xoxo

Naut, I can't help thinking of Natale McMaster who we were fortunate
enough to see live here in Windsor with The Chieftains...what a night that was!.....

My brother in NB is going to hear about not showing me that trail! I have fiddlers in my family too, and piano players, and banjos, and singers. Then there is me, LOL! Loving the journey through your posts.

Oh naut, now I have another destination to add to my long list of places, not yet visited. You have such a lively way to bring travel to life. Thanks also for your interest in my book. I don´t have any copies myself yet, otherwise I would have sent you a signed one.

What a wonderful sounding place that Ceilidh Trail.  Fiddles are in my background both sides of the family though they are Czech and Oklahoma fiddles.

Great to read those people are so musically inclined.

Nice memories came back to mind while I was reading this post of yours. And even all these years, I'm still not sure if that bridge btw PEI and the rest of Canada was a good thing or not. With the ferry there was traffic only during some hours of the day, now with the bridge, it's all day AND night!

Naut

You bring the richness of the East Coast to life, Naut, and make me a little envious that I never did make the trip last year and have to rely on my memories from my late 20’s (more years ago than I care to mention).  At that time I drove around Cape Breton and saw, I'm sure,  some of the most breath-taking scenery in the world.
