Well done Malcolm!
How we perceive things can be so varied so we each have to find the way that brings us the outcome we want; you my friend have accomplished this so well! Many blessings and thanks

Wow You have been busy and I am glad your insight into your own self image is great and clearer. To really know who and what we are is empowering in all we attempt. The saying goes "so old- so soon ,so smart- so Late!"LOL

Malcolm - that's great. Eventually it all boils down to perspectives I think. All the best with your book and thank you for your visit.

All the comments have said it, Malcolm. Working to make a living is fine, but it's important to do what YOU want to do sometimes....in fact - as often as possible. Good luck on the book!

You are moving in the right direction, my friend. You never realise your potential doing things you don't like. I realised this late in life and now I am more focused on writing which is my top priority.

A self-perspective is necessary in facing the world. With one you can clearly see what you are for and what you are against or neutral to. This perspective is solid at the center but not static: it changes as things and scenes change. Its the way to grow! I hope this makes sense!

I have to believe it is a great feeling, too! I think any time we can satisfy the writer in us the world revolves a lot smoother! SO happy for you, too! sam

there is often pressure to be who we are not
Or to stay as we have always been rather than grow... the challenge is in learning to be ourselves and allow others to grow to accept it (I'm still working on that )

Good for you, Malcolm! be yourself and let others deal with that as best they can. Great news abut the book - I look forward to reading it one day in the not too distant future.

Blogging and writing just what you want to write is a wonderful safety valve. Earning a living isn't always a pleasure. Thanks for your visit Malcolm. Pity I could not include the aroma of freshly baked scones....Perhaps it will be possible one day.
