Very well written. Your last sentence was a terrific way to end this post. I am happy for your son and your family. I worked with addicts for 4 years. It is not an easy life, neither for the addict nor the people who love him/her. I send you prayers that his success continues.

The close to this poignant post can be said of the family I grew up in! It was sinking forever and thankfully I was able to get another life boat! Fine accomplishment by your son!!! sam
