- Go to Amazed by St. Augustine's Abbey in Canterbury!
I would love to live in England but I am only on vacation - so sad.
I wish I could have posted the photo I took which inspired this poem. In the midst of the ruins, a beautiful flower emerged! Anyway, no the Cathedral is not the same. St. Augustine's Abbey is outside of the city walls. Well worth your time, if you visit Canterbury again. By the way, thank you for your encouragement.

Great poem!
"..Fragrantly, I spring forth in beauty,
For nothing is as it seems." This whole poem is marvelous.
I have been to Canterbury; but the Cathedral, not the Abbey...it isn't the same place is it?
My brother met his wife in Canterbury.
(Are you English and live out there, or are you on vacation?)

Life amazes everywhere as it appears when unexpected like a tree growing in a rock!
