I went through that feeling when we emptied out the old family home for the last time and it became just a vacant house with no emotions, no dreams, only dead memories. It totally freaked out Pitiful. It took her weeks to get over the move.

Curiosity and the Cat
I think you said that the furnishings of the rectory are not yours. In our parsonage Pastor and his wife had to furnish it themselves I believe. I don’t know if they were reimbursed, given an allowance, or it was furnished minus the cat. I’ll have to ask him. BCA, Bill’s RJJst

dont you just love it, we moved in Jan and my kids said that is our last move it is such a chore, next place I move will be to Heaven

rector, its never easy to move..before you actually do leave on Monday,
take a final walk through and I bet you will feel some of the best vibes still lingering, not leaving until you do...
..
