I found it to be surreal when my father and aunt more or less became my grandmother's parent.

HAHAHA.  One of my three sons is especially becoming more parental with me.  I really notice it when he is doing that.  LOL

rector, your daughter sounds so much like our oldest daughter....
at least she is back into her own apartment now, but she still drops in to check our groceries supply and makes sure we're eating well......
