Well, that was a beautiful jaunt! I hope the sun stays out so you can do that more often...with more pictures, of course.

yep, I heard that you were having a miserable summer over there. Glad to be experiencing the "winter" of Australia: sunny and around 20-25oC!

Nice ride--feels like I was there on the handlebars...
small and invisible...  But this renews my recent impulse to seek out a bike like the one I grew up with, and start riding again... though certain centers of gravity have shifted over the years...

Wonderful!
I can really dig your two mentions of just being into moving, as well as the pix! Thanks for taking us on your bike ride.

I loved the pictures, which made me just want more, so I Googled Darlington Provincial Park and got down close enought to see every tree, every road and every little house.  It looks like a great place for riding.

Naut

Surely you must ride routinely and didn’t suddenly jump on your bike and go 45 miles!  Or maybe you did.  I loved your description moving us from heated asphalt to the trail along the lake.  Glad you finally had some sun!

It sounds and looks idyllic. After such a long ride you must feel exhausted but triumphant.
