Kind of like what you are doing?
crying wolf?     This is an actual example of a radical attempting to turn a situation into something it is not.  His actions brought about the arrest.....he refused to cooperate with officers and thought he was going to make everything into something it was not.......

Then, your President made matters worse by commenting on something he had little knowledge of (kind of like his own Health Care Bill)..........

In fact, his teleprompterless comment would be deemed as undo influence if this become a case in civil courts........

It's good to see the age of post-racial politics is upon us..........I have a tingle going up my leg......

Actually, I heard a term for what you call passive, or non-intentional...
it's "institutionalized racism." An attitude gets built in and reinforced over time, becomes policy, dividing the insiders, the "us" from "them" in unconscious ways. And like someone else said, I'm glad you are teaching, working with these ideas.

The Gates affair sounds like a scene from the film by silent director and racial bigot D.W. Griffith, The Making of a Nation. BCA,  Bill*s RJJst

I'm glad you are a teacher, Kingmi.  This nation needs a lot more teachers like you.
