I created a website and have been sending the link to all of my Facebook friends, as well as a post or two here on blogit, giving it out at work, etc. This helps to give them a bit of a feel for what it's about. I still have things to add on the website, but I think it's helping. Also, I found out that if someone requests your book at a library where they have a card, the library will buy a few copies. I've been telling everyone I know in different places to do this! I'll check back for more ideas, because I'm new at this, too. My website is www.amylovett.webs.com. Let me know if you have one.
