Again, I heartily endorse to you your local county's dispute resolution center, and any crisis line you have access to. You have disputes with Piggen's parents, but also, perhaps with CPS over the handling of all this. DRC can be amazingly helpful, and not a little reassuring.

Thanks Ciel for the advise. Using a third party to keep CPS involved since they don't seem to respond to Jan's complaints is good idea, though even when Piggens had a Guardian ad Lidem for a long time we didn't get anywhere with CPS. I need to get to telling this story so you all have the whole story and can help me along the way. I so appreciate it, thank you

I imagine you have talked to Child Protective Services...
When you file a report with them, they may not act immediately, but they do start watching the person reported, accumulating evidence.
At least that's how the system is supposed to work in Washington State.
If you have a counselor for your own end of things, if you report to that person your concerns and fears, the counselor also has some obligations legally to file a CPS report.
If you go to a local Dispute Resolution Center with your concerns, they also must report. It doesn't sound as if this is a situation that ultimately can be mediated with willing, rational and fair-minded participation of all parties, but just getting another report into CPS can't hurt. It also establishes, by your going to DRC that you are trying to be reasonable and fair-minded. Looks good if you ever have to go to court over it.

I will never fathom why parents want to enforce rules that harm the child! How incredible selfish and arrogant behavior on the part of the father! He appears to need to control, and it is just harming Piggens! I do hope all are untied soon! I have you in my prayers! sam
