That hen is a he and he is growing lovely tail feathers
with buds for spurs so I am perplexed at the guy who sold me him as a chicken as he said I had four hens. There are two hens and two roosters in the batch. He is very protective of the hens and the other rooster and definitely the boss. I don't think I could put him in a pot now. He is such a darling animal, I would not be able to eat him!

sometimes a hen like this does actually change genda. Queer I know but
I have seen it happen. Yes, pop her into the pot. She won't lay again I think.

loll that is unbelievable loll... maybe she is a hermaphrodite and has both sexes... or perhaps she is just gay loll... I have a couple of colleagues that would qualify as chicken Psychologists... loll... though I am not sure they will agree LMAO.
