Very interesting pictures Vogue. Nothing like throwing a pity-party in a situation like that. I successfully tried a similar tactic in Rotterdam last year. Thanks for your kind comment earlier today. Glad to hear that your friend is not missing all the fun. Enjoy your stay.

I just caught up on Derrick’s story – OUCH- the poor guy. Sometimes a “pity party” works and I’m glad you were able to get into such a charming museum. (I love old looms....)

I'm a huge fan of tiny museums in obscure corners of the world. I would have done the same thing!!! A guided museum tour AND and ice cream - that's my idea of a perfect day!! Mal

Congratulations on the Irish in you luv with the gift of the gab for getting into that museum. I loved the dressing gown statue by the bed, it looks like a real person. All of your pictures are terrific luv and I'm happy you can move your friend around even if it is in a wheeelchair.

Glad to hear your friend is feeling better though he can not be too confortable in the heat that must by now have seized the city... Leave it to you to find that gem of a museum in the midsts of a 5 star hotel loll... The pictures are fabulous and so are you my friend :-) I miss having you near as well and I did blow that kiss into the sea... Hurry back! :-)
