I guess I had missed this the first time around so now I see this story after I started the other one, and now I know what happened. Too bad that had to happen to your friend, but maybe it saved you from something worse who knows

Wow, Vogue- Sounds like you saw a lot more of the Turkish countryside and culture than you bargained for. But if anyone can turn a trip to the hospital into an adventure, it's you!!!! Terribly sorry to hear about your friend... What an adventure... I hope he heals quickly and painlessly...poor guy. Meanwhile you must be excited about your trip to Northern Spain... Its so beautiful there! and you are due for some worry-free travel :-) xoxo
