I hadn't read anything by Codevilla, but I looked him up. Sounds interesting, though I wasn't impressed with his recommendation of 'Cheerful acceptance' of Iran's nuclear armament (in a piece under the general heading of
How to Eliminate Iran's Nuclear Weapons, written for the Claremont Institute), a dangerous strategy to adopt with people like Ahmadinejad, who display an apocalyptic vision of history...
