LOL.  I'll bet I haven't roller skated for about twenty years.  The last time I went, it was a skating marathon and I lasted three hours and then quit, not because of tiredness, but because of the total boredom of going round and round.

My children love 'Go Ape'
but they enjoy the Thetford swimming pool more. I don't really like either! Susan is planning a secret 50th for me next year and all the children are in on it! Whatever you decide to do I hope your birthday is memorable for all the right reasons...

Fantastic!!!
Resist the voices that tell you that you should be doing old person's stuff - it's the childishness that keeps you young

I love your spirit; have fun, and do tell us your birthday! Thanks very much indeed for your most generous response to my post (and photo!) ---don't think though that I deserve such praise! Have a good day! Nita.

What a hoot!
It would be even funnier if we found out you were making it all up. Rope ladders, indeed.

Oh you have me laughing out loud at my computer here!  I love to rollerblade, but even at 46, find it is harder to do then it was even a year ago!  I will be praying for you to have fun...and be safe!

I have no head for heights and have never, ever roller-skated. You are a very courageous lady! It seems to me that your parishioners will miss having such a lively rector. In my experience one of the biggest advantages in moving house is you get rid of things you've been thinking of getting rid of and never got round to doing. Thanks for visiting my blog.

rector..lol..I think I'd want to try the ladder before the roller skating,
but that's just me (and it's easy to say from the cozy confines of my computer chair....:).....

I'll spare you a prayer.

I don't like heights either. One step on a ladder is way too much for me.
