How appropriate your comment is meine Liebe: we did had roses to throw on her coffin as it was lower in the grave. It was a very peaceful funeral in a cemetary in the bush in Mapleton.

Hallo, meine Liebe. Just caught up with your last entries and you have a fantastic time ahead of you in Australia. Love the boat trip! As for the funeral, I know all bout Alzheimer, my mom was suffering from that too and death is a relief, for the loved one as well as for tha family. See it in that spirit and send her off with a rose and a smile. She has been dead spiritually a long time already.

It's always sad to know of someone with that mind altering disease. One of my favorite cousins and his mother have both passed now and as you said it was a relief to those who cared for them.
Glad to know your enjoying your time and the weather is good.
