Rocking
I’m sure it’s happened before – and it will happen again.  People, with the best of intentions, make it known that they wish to say a few words but when the times comes they realize they are either too upset or too uncomfortable to do so.  So I guess it’s your job to quickly fill in the blanks….

Cardboard coffins?
how eco-friendly, I didn't know you could do that.  Sounds like a good bit of juggling - lucky you are able to think on your feet

Funerals are very tough! I do agree one would meet many interesting people! I can't imagine having all the necessary garb on and then deal with sweltering heat! WOW! sam

Smileycons!  You have such wonderfully busy and interesting day's. I don't think a burial would be permitted here with a cardboard coffin. Be Well!

You went in all prepared for a super long funeral only to find yourself trying to fill the time. Funny how things work out.

Isn't reincarnation another interpretation of resurrection? But like getting new clothes...

Kewl!
I went (as a trainee deacon in the Swiss reformed Church once) to a funeral. The deceased had asked me to do the sermonette although I wasn't even a pastor.

I quite like funerals in a way: they move me. I was in tears at my father and brother's funerals - where I read eulogies.
