I feel so sorry for all you workers. I may be older but retirement truly
has its compensations. Good luck with the book. It's a hard slog but worth it.

Yes, cling on to the book when the Tube is just unbearable. I see our man got through (just) to the quarter finals. Yippee!

When i find the day job especially challenging
I tend to remind myself that I am thereby choice, and that it fulfils several needs... then I list the needs it fulfils and remind myself that when the job is no longer needed to fulfil them I can stop

Heatwaves are fine when you can relax in the shade with an icy drink; not so good otherwise!
