what we have here is hypocrisy on a grand scale
the presidents I cited supported, gave millions of dollars in aid to dictators who oppressed their people greatly.
Their actions -- what you describe Pres.Obama as doing is a drop inthe bucket compared to what they did.
I won't exempt Democrats from this either because some of them supported the same despots. But this was U.S. policy during the Cold War.
And Yes, Saddam is out of office, but he received millions of dollars of aid from Reagan and Bush Sr. -- this after he gassed Kurds (for which he was tried, sort of ex post facto). Makes you sort of understand how come he thought he could continue his practices.
As I say, your little problem with Mr. Obama is nothing. The pot calling the kettle black when the pot is caked with gross stuff and the kettle's purported state is questionable.

Re: Let's see -- Eisenhower, Nixon, Reagan, Bush Sr.
As always you are sooooo off base with your remark.......there is no military dictatorship.....the dictator was removed. Obama opposes it because his view of governing is so similar to to the man kicked out......damn the Constitution, full Socialism ahead!

Let's see -- Eisenhower, Nixon, Reagan, Bush Sr.
all supported military dictatorships
Heck, Saddam Hussein was our friend under Reagan and Bush Sr., and received millions of dollars of aid.
