Hi Thank you for sharing and I hope they invite you back too. Sounds like a great time despite the weather! Thanks you also for dropping by my poetry blog. retirement can be a most busy time. I think perhaps it seems that way because we move more slowly and take more time trying to remember! Enjoy!

Mr. Rocking Rector....!
You are from another age; another world; in a time warp....
Your writing is absolutely charming and delightful. (...the heaven's opened...)
YOU MUST WRITE when you retire. You have the talent. God bless you, Sir!

I still think Federer would beat Murray
but at least we have expectation that Murray might make the final. I always felt it was really only hope with Henman.

I love your chatty blog and have missed you and been wondering
how dear old England is although I knew with your dear self there all would be well. I hope your man can win the tennis too, especially as we have no contender these days. Oh watch out for the cricket luv. I have a grandson who at ten is something special.

That must have been a very enjoyable afternoon, in spite of the thunder storm. You mention that they are going to turn the village school into a social centre; does this mean that the village children are bussed into the nearest town? Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving your very kind comment.
