How profound this posting is, on every level!
I truly wish that I could show this wisdom to my friend Craig, who just gambled away his and his whole family's fortune, (seventeen million dollars!) but he has fled the judgement of those who are left to deal with the havock he has inflicted upon them. I just wrote about this mystifying self-destruction, and fear that in the depth of his despair, he will end his pain, by ending his life.
Maybe he could come to forgive himself, maybe not, but I think that this might give him the foundation upon which to build, to go on, and possibly redeem himself, someday.
