Good point, Golden...
...you present a parable with more than a little truth, methinks!

Ekildog...
...You have said a mouthful, much to think about. I suspect that the greater media out there really has a leftward bent. I say this because I have known many of these people since my high school days. They were left wing then, and they remain left wing now. To me, the mystery is how they all seem to gravitate to the media.

I have seen police video clips on TV, in which the cops get a "domestic disturbance" call. It could go like this. They show up to find the husband and wife (Saddam and Osama) in a huge argument (Saddam- "you are a religious fanatic!", Osama- "you are a religious hypocrite!") As soon as the cops (America) shows up, these two losers join forces to try to beat up the cops. Squabbles between family or belief groups are always forgotten, when working against a common enemy. Besides, Saddam lost nothing to throw a little money and support to Al Queda.

Hola, compadre!

Its been a while since I've commented, so I guess I'll start this madness off now...

If you percieve as a reliable source of information, in any form, then yes, this might be true. I, however, take everything I see and hear, no matter from newspapers, radio, TV, the Internet, or even books with a grain of salt. And I sure as hell have to wonder why something like this did not catch on like wildfire.

Who knows, there might be something to this. (Although, I will say this, the media, for some reason, is percieved by the conservatives as being too liberal, and the liberal aften percive the media as too conservative.)

Alright, so, let's play devil's advocate... Saddam and bin Laden are incahoots... A dictator who further sought to oppress religion and a religious fanatic bent on making his religious views the popular majority? Hmmm...sounds like a huge roundabout conspiracy, oddly enough, as deceptive and intricate as the ones therorized about the United States.

So... all i can say is, prove it.

Yes, there's information in this article and so-and-so is quoted and this and that, but... prove it. Fact is, people say a lot of things, and some times they lie and spread disinformation to make other information valid. Isn't that one of the reasons that lawyers look for an admission of guilt? It is (usually) the most effective way of proving their side of the story as the truth.

And I'm not saying I disagree with you entirely on this, because if its true, I'd like to know about it and also why the U.S. government didn't release more information about it when it was disputed so long ago. This is volatile stuff.

-Ek

(P.S. - I think this hasn't been more widely examined by other bloggers because some of them are too busy with 'lists', blogs on blogging, and MHW's post about "weak ass women")

Excellent Post!!!

I wouldn't be surprised if Osama and Suddam are hiding together somewhere deep underground.  Thanks for reporting it as it is.  You're 100% correct about why this isn't reported at all, too bad for them, the liberal media can't hide the truth forever.

Write On!  ltlmac70 wuz here...

The BN is also strangely quiet about this info....
But I have always suspected that Saddam supported Osama every way he could, simply because we (America) are their common enemy. I am sure there was much celebrating in Saddam's palace on 9/11/01.
