That is interesting - some resigning although they claimed innocence...
maybe they were guilty, or maybe they were ashamed to be a part of the whole scandal..

What surprised me is the number of politicians who claimed innocence and resigned anyway. If you are innocent why resign? Thanks for your visit.

Interesting stuff
and, of course, MPs are only sorry that they didn't hide their errant ways more carefully. Presumably they didn't have time to do it properly due to pious work in the constiuencies etc...

I share your lack of sympathy
especially as none of them appear to have regretted spending the money, they merely regret having been caught.
Media coverage of it is interesting though, have you noticed the political bias? I find it fascinating to watch the general public being subtly told what to think
