- Go to Little note on Low blood pressure
Hallo, meine Liebe, it's me again. Thanks for your comment and I wanted to tell you that that publisher has also published the quite well known book "A year in Provence". I think it would be a good place for all your Germany adventures. The boss' name is Anthony Waldon and the man is really approachable. I hope to meet him in person in Galicia. Now wouldn't that be something if we both managed to become authors there?

I find it particularly interesting that you don't experience thirst, because I 'suffer' (if one can call it that) from the same condition. I sweat a lot, especially when I work out, and I constantly have to force myself to drink. (By the way, I only have that problem with water, LOL.)
When I don't drink enough, I get cramps, sometimes in the muscles of my chest, which mimic angina. Some years ago I thought I had a heart condition, but the doctors couldn't find anything wrong with my heart. I finally figured out myself what the problem was - I call it 'the lazy drinker syndrome', which can have several meanings, of course...

I also have had consistently low blood pressure all my life
and I used to amaze medical staff when they took my BP and it was 90 over 60. I was in hospital after an op and they were quite concerned that it was 70 over 50 and I think they were expecting me to faint anytime. It makes me able to deal with a hell of a lot more stress than most people. And yes you are right I am not about to have a heart attack any time soon.

Thanks for such an informative post. I have low blood pressure too, but it doesn't matter and it doesn't bother me, because, as you so rightly say, we are not likely to drop dead from a heart attack any time soon. So, we both will be in the air next Saturday. Have a safe journey.
