Beautiful post... Do I detect a hint of nostalgia??? I know exactly what you mean thoug... The things of the past have an irresistible allure... maybe its that their memories were frozen in our minds and have come to represent "happy" times... or perhaps is just that they WERE happy times :-) Sometimes shen I see my grandkids, barely 4 playing with the videogames instead of going out to play I feel sad... like they are missing something I treasured...
